Hockey at Adrian College

Adrian College is proud to have seven hockey teams right here on campus, alongside more than 40 other varsity sports programs. Our hockey programs include:

• Men’s NCAA Division III
• Women’s NCAA Division III
• Men’s ACHA Division 1
• Women’s ACHA Division 1
• Men’s ACHA Division 2
• Women’s ACHA Division 2

Each hockey team operates as its own program, with individual coaching staffs, policies and procedures, funding, locker rooms, and recruiting classes. This allows each team to build its own identity and create an environment specifically designed around its athletes and competitive goals.

Academics at Adrian

Adrian College offers more than 40 areas of study across undergraduate and graduate programs. Some of our most popular areas of study include:

• Business
• Criminal Justice
• Athletic Training
• Exercise Science
• Teacher Education
• Communications

As a smaller college, Adrian provides an environment where students can build strong relationships with their professors and classmates. Most general education courses have approximately 15–30 students, while specialized courses are often closer to 5–15 students. Some larger courses may have up to 100 students.

Campus & Student Life

Located in Adrian, Michigan, Adrian College is approximately an hour south of Detroit. Our campus is home to roughly 1,600–1,800 students, creating a close-knit college community while still offering a wide variety of academic, athletic, and extracurricular opportunities.

Adrian is also a unique place for student-athletes, with approximately 85% of our student body participating in athletics in some capacity. Being surrounded by other student-athletes creates a competitive, energetic, and supportive campus environment.

Admissions & Financial Aid

Adrian College is a merit-based institution, meaning academic performance plays an important role in determining your eligibility for scholarships and financial aid. The stronger your academic record, the more opportunities you may have for merit-based assistance.

Students can apply beginning in August of their senior year. Our application is free, does not require an essay, and is test-optional.
